Sprouts!!

I can't wait until this afternoon to get some pictures of my sprouts! I'm going to have to take the lid off my starter kit as the sunflowers are starting to push against it! These are from Ostara, and they have TAKEN OFF!!

Some Spring Pictures

I'm fighting with Blogger this morning to show you my mediocre pictures!!

I took this on Thursday, from my back deck door since it was sprinkling a bit. My husband put these bulbs in for me a few years ago, and this is the first year I've gotten more than 1 blossom! They're so sunny bright and beautiful up there on that hill!

But then it rained yesterday, and the drops were fat enough to push this one almost to the ground. This is the one that has bloomed now for 3 seasons. The others area all new this year! I'm so glad too because I was considering pulling a few of them and replacing them this fall.

I'll have to see if I can take a better picture of it later, it's standing up a bit better today. 

I just had to share!!

OH, and on Thursday last week when I went out to get some closer up pics after it stopped raining.....this guy was just sitting  there, I was only about 7 feet away from him

Hopefully LOTS more pictures coming soon!! As soon as we have sun, and a bit more warmth I'm going to attempt to employ the children and start weeding the gardens :) But I might just let them play ;)

I did it! And Happy Ostara

1 root canal, and temp crown on Thursday. And yesterday my wisdom teeth came out :) The right side is more tender than the left. I'd give the left a pain scale of 2, but the right gets a 5. Maybe I'll take the rest of my painkiller dose soon.

Happy Ostara, as my gift to the God and Goddess today I will do my best to get a few seeds in my starter kit ;)

Dental Work

I go in tomorrow for part one of two for this week. Tomorrow I have a root canal and temp crown. I'm doing this with a valium, and nitrous oxide. And of course Novocaine! lol and then on Friday I'm having my wisdom teeth pulled. Joy...

I'm scared of after!

But in much lighter news, I'm hoping to get some seeds started today, and a lot of cleaning done before I'm out of commission. I'm also planning to go outside if the sun springs our and take some pictures of my flower sprouts and my single daffodil bud :D

70*!!!

My forecast says it's going to reach 70 today! I'm totally stoked about that prospect! I might have to run the A/C in my new van!!

Today I plan to make progress on my house by finishing my dishes, and putting away my (my clothes) basket of laundry. (Put everyone elses away yesterday!) I'm taking a bag with a few bits of clothing to a friend. A friend of his had a house fire and the family has two boys, ages 5 and 8. Well, I just so happen to have an 8 yo who is growing into the next size. I took what was already too small. As we progress into Spring and consistently warmer weather, I may have some more clothes for this family.

And I plan to make progress on my GARDEN today by picking up the pallets my mother procured for me from her place of business. :D I'm quite excited!!

Progress!!

I have made an appointment at the oral surgeons office to have my wisdom teeth removed. This is terrifying for me. However, I can't wait any longer than I have. And I have waited far too long. But as I said, it's scary!!! 

Sadly I had to schedule it for the 18th. March is a busy month for us, I really wish I'd gotten on the ball with the 2nd dentist sooner. I guess that just means, I have enough to look forward to that maybe I won't be so daunted by the work! 

In other news...it's almost time for us to get started on our garden. Today I'm researching ways to protect the wood I have from termites and other harmful buggies, so that I can have my boxes close-ish to the house. 

I am hopeful that I can go pick up the wood from my parents this weekend. I'm not sure if *this* weekend is a busy one, but it looks like the weather might be nice! If it is, I would love to get out and get something done for the garden.

Here is an old post with pictures from the beginning of last years fun! I didn't take any of that apart like I was planning at the end of the season. I let it all die, and just stay there. So I have LOTS of work to do!!

Plan the build, build, start my starters, move and prepare last years dirt (get more dirt). The kids are excited to start the plants, but I have some work to do in the house before that happens too!! Those little starter boxes take up a good bit of room. And they need light, so they'll need to be near the sliding glass doors. That means we need to move the table around. FUN!!!!

I ask because I am currently researching what I believe to be my totem animal, and part of my Wicca 101 homework for this month is to start looking into the different pantheons, and getting to know the history/stories of the Gods and Goddesses. 

Well, I killed my printer!

Yesterday I kept getting paper jams and finally I had to take it apart because the paper ripped. I found a sunglass lens. Yeah..welcome to life with kids.

However, I seem to have killed it in the process of fixing it. So now I have no printer. So now when I go to www.organizedhome.com for the printables I can do nothing but drool and dream.
